Grades A, B, C, D: how your device is rated

2 min read · Updated on June 16, 2026

When you fill out the condition questionnaire, we work out a grade from it. On arrival, our team checks the device and confirms (or revises) that grade. Here's what each level means.

Grade A — like new

No visible signs of use: screen without a scratch, flawless casing, everything works. This is the condition that gets you the best price.

Grade B — good condition

A few micro-scratches you only catch in the light, but no faults at all. The device still looks great.

Grade C — fair condition

Clear signs of use (scratches, minor knocks), while staying fully functional.

Grade D — for parts

Major faults: cracked screen, battery to replace, malfunctions. The device still holds value for its components.

What if the grade changes at inspection?

If the real condition differs from what you declared, we make you a new, clear offer. You accept it, or we send the device back to you for free. And if the condition matches, we pay exactly the price we quoted — never less.
