After the holidays or a birthday, there's often a tech gift you'll never use: a duplicate, the wrong size, the wrong brand. Instead of letting it lose value in a drawer, turn it into cash — the clean way.
Selling it beats forgetting it
An electronic device loses value every month, even brand new in the box. The longer you wait, the less it's worth. Sell it while it's still recent and you get the most out of it.
And no need to play salesperson on a classifieds site: no photos to take, no meetups, no sketchy payments. You get a firm price right away.
Keep it new all the way
If you already know you're going to sell it, don't open it and don't activate it: it'll be bought back at the new price − 8%. Hang on to the shrink wrap, the box and the accessories.
